My Mission

My goal is to provide high-quality dental care and educate my patients on the value of a healthy smile.  I want to ensure each patient understands how their oral health impacts not only their self-confidence but also their overall health.

Dr. Mauro is committed to continuing education and advanced training. He completes over 80 hours of continuing dental education annually and has achieved Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry—an honor achieved by fewer than 5% of dentists nationwide.

Personal Life

Dr. Mauro married his wife, Melissa, in 2003, and they have been blessed with five amazing daughters. They are excited to raise their children in the North Hills with their grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins nearby.

Life & Hobbies

Dr. Stein was born and raised in Pittsburgh, and she recently returned to her hometown to join North Hills Family Dental after completing a General Practice Residency in Brooklyn, New York. When she isn’t practicing dentistry, Dr. Stein enjoys traveling, swimming, and playing tennis.

Kimberly Klein, DDS

My Mission

“I truly aim to make a difference in my patients’ lives. I have found it rewarding to work with special needs and medically compromised patients over the last 13 years of my career. I have heard all too often of patients being rejected by dental providers due to a disability or medical condition. It has been my mission in dentistry to break this cycle through education.”

Dr. Klein completed a general practice residency program at UCLA dental health hospitals. She has over 13 years of experience in training special needs patients in clinic and operating room settings. She has worked in multiple hospitals and outpatient surgery centers and has run an operating room for the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. She was previously licensed for IV conscious sedation.

Professional Memberships

Dr. Klein is an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Western Los Angeles Dental Society. She is a former member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the Special Care Dental Association.

Life & Hobbies

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Klein spends every minute with her two young girls, husband, and dog. She loves to dance, do yoga, hike, spin, and hang out with friends in her free time. Her hobbies include reading non-dental books and making jewelry.
